For over 30 years now, it has been my pleasure to provide quality periodontal and implant dentistry to the Tampa community. Our goal has always been, and will continue to be, dedication and a commitment to excellence. My education to become a periodontist started when I attended Virginia Tech where I received (2) Bachelor degrees, one in International Relations and the other in Biology.
While at Virginia Tech, in the biology program, I was selected to be a team member for a research program in Antarctica (South Pole). The research there included biological and chemical analysis of lakes and glaciers within the remote interior of the continent.
After graduation from college, I attended the Medical College of Virginia where I received my dental degree (D.D.S.). I then attended Temple University School of Dentistry for my post-doctorate degree in Periodontics. Upon graduation, I moved to Tampa to start my periodontal practice.
There have been many innovative advancements in my specialty over the years which I have incorporated into my periodontal practice. Our focus is to continue to provide the most up-to-date technological services in the field of periodontal therapy. Recent developments in LASER therapy are a valuable, viable option to traditional treatment providing less downtime, less pain, and quicker recovery.
I fully understand that a visit to a periodontist is a commitment that makes most people very anxious. I promise to treat you as I would my own family and strive to make your visits as comfortable as possible.
For fun, my passion is fishing. For over 20 years, I have flown into remote lakes in northern Canada in search of THE BIG ONE and am proud to say I’ve caught my share. I also enjoy traveling, golf, and snow skiing.
Looking forward to helping you achieve good dental health; see you soon!
